The next Aging & Disability Network meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 9, 2011 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park. This month's topic will be Medicare 101 presented by Bill Beregenzer, Health Insurance Counselor Assistance Program (HICAP) volunteer with the Saratoga County Office for the Aging.

I would like to thank Saratoga United Methodist Church for hosting last month’s meeting as well as Kim Swire, Elder Care Consultant for CHOICES at St. Peter's, for facilitating a discussion on Practical Tips for Caregivers. Meeting minutes to follow.

Note that our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. at Malta Community Center, 1 Bayberry Drive, Malta. The meeting topic will be a general overview of Medicaid presented by Saratoga County Department of Social Services staff.
