Tuesday, May 8, 2012 Meeting

The next Aging & Disability Network meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park. This month's topic will be Biomedical Ethics. Dr. Joyce Peabody, vice president and chief medical officer of Saratoga Hospital, will discuss what Bioethics is and why has it become so important in our delivery of care.  Dr. Peabody will offer some practical hints on analyzing questions of limiting care, DNRs, healthcare proxies, etc.  Questions are encouraged.

Reminder: President Obama will be visiting GlobalFoundries on Tuesday.  No details have yet been released regarding the time, however this will certainly impact traffic so just be aware.
