Meeting: Tuesday, November 13, 2012

The next Aging & Disability Network meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13, 2012 2-3:30 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park. This will be a networking meeting.  We are hoping to highlight some of the local support groups by inviting representatives to attend or having information available to distribute.  Please spread the word.  Be sure to bring plenty of your own marketing materials and business cards and please let me know if you will be attending at sosdevelopment@nycap.rr.com.

In commemoration of National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, the Aging and Disability Network we will also be sponsoring a Virtual Dementia Tour in cooperation with Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY at the November 13th meeting from 1 to 3 p.m.    The Virtual Dementia Tour is an awareness experience which provides participants with some understanding of the physical and mental challenges associated with Alzheimer's and dementia.  Registration is required and spaces are limited.   If you are interested in participating, please contact Karen Britt at kbritt@alz.org with your name and if you have a time preference.  Karen will e-mail all participants with their confirmed time slot.
